Annual General Assembly (AGA)
IMPORTANT: Every Local Committee is required to nominate ONE representative to be a voting delegate at the 2025 WUSC Annual General Assembly (AGA) that will take place online on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. ET
WHAT IS THE AGA?
Each year, WUSC members and delegates from across the country attend the Annual General Assembly (AGA): an important business meeting conducted in both official languages through simultaneous interpretation. The WUSC Board of Directors and Executive Director share important WUSC updates, and members can exercise their right to vote in WUSC matters.
This year the AGA will be held online on March 19th, 2025 at 12pm ET.
HOW TO NOMINATE YOUR LOCAL COMMITTEE'S VOTING DELEGATE:
All members of your Local Committee decide who will be the voting delegate at WUSC’s AGA. This decision should be formally made and recorded (e.g. meeting minutes, a group chat conversation, or an email to all Local Committee members).
Submit the name of the chosen voting delegate and the meeting minutes using this Google form as soon as possible, but no later than March 14, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
The Voting Delegate then needs to register for the AGA here as the “Local Committee Voting Delegate”. Other Local Committee members are welcome to register and attend the AGA as “Local Committee NON Voting member”.
